We are looking to recruit a talented, highly motivated, and inspirational leader to be our next Branch Manager in Guildford. Williams is a ‘Trade Only’ supplier of plumbing and heating materials with 50 years of trading experience. Following consistently excellent performance across the company.

As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a busy trade-only merchant and leadership of the team. In addition to the regular daily duties of managing a branch, you will have ultimate responsibility for the sales performance of the branch, strengthening and building on existing relationships with customers and generating new business through face-to-face and online sales. Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will deliver on our promise of ‘Best Product, Best Price, and Best Service’.

You will be an inspiring leader, communicator, and motivator, who will build strong relationships with your colleagues and actively motivate, train, and develop the team to deliver truly exceptional service. You will constantly seek to develop yourself and your team, maximising performance through both your leadership skills and the ability to plan, prioritise, delegate, and empower.

To enable you to provide outstanding customer service, achieve excellent results, and deliver sustained high-quality performance, we will provide you with an individualised and comprehensive onboarding and continuous development programme. This includes mentoring, leadership coaching, our suite of Williams learning programmes, the support and guidance of your Network Manager, and for the right individual, the opportunity to study for external qualifications in leadership and management.

This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday 40 hours a week based in the branch.
